About The Event
Adult Mental Health First Aid (AMHFA) is a skill-based training that teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of a mental health or substance use challenge . Similar to physical First Aid and CPR, AMHFA helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis until professional assistance is obtained or crisis is resolved.
This is an in-person 8 hour training. Lunch will be provided.
